Scandinavian Airlines (SAS) and Air Europa have extended pilot training agreement with CAE

Scandinavian Airlines to train pilots on CAE simulators

CAE has announced recently they extended training agreements with SAS and Air Europa. Based on these contracts, pilots of both companies and SAS cabin crew will be trained by CAE instructors for the next 5 years. The announcement was published during the first day of the 2019 International Paris Air Show.

Scandinavian Airlines contract

In the case of SAS, CAE is about to provide Airbus A320, A330, A340 and Boeing 737 full-flight simulator pilot training in Copenhagen, Oslo and Stockholm (so as cabin crew). Continuously, SAS can use the CAE’s Airbus A350 full-flight simulator located in CAE London Gatwick and Madrid. CAE promised to deliver an Airbus A320 NEO full-flight simulator to CAE Oslo in 2020 as well. Scandinavian Airlines and CAE has been cooperating for 10 years. Besides high standards of training, SAS welcomes CAE training centres are placed near the SAS base in Copenhagen.

Air Europa contract

Talking about Spanish Air Europa, CAE is about to train Air Europa pilots on A330 and Boeing 787 simulators at CAE European training centres such as CAE Madrid, Rome and Gatwick. The airline became a partner of CAE 15 years ago. CAE provides the A330 training at Air Europa training centre in Palma de Mallorca as well. The airline appreciates modern technology that CAE offers.
